My Personal Creative Work Featured in Vogue’s Weekly Photographer Admissions
There are moments in a creative career that feel like turning points—and for me, one of those moments was seeing my personal photography featured in Vogue’s Weekly Photographer Admissions.
What Is Vogue’s Weekly Photographer Admissions?
Vogue’s PhotoVogue platform is a global community of photographers, where creativity and storytelling are celebrated without boundaries. Every week, Vogue’s editors review thousands of submissions and handpick images that stand out—whether they are fashion, documentary, fine art or deeply personal work.
Being featured in this weekly curation is a mark of artistic recognition. It’s not something you can buy or sponsor; it’s chosen purely on creativity, vision and emotional impact.
Why This Feature Means So Much to Me
As a photographer, most people know me for my romantic and timeless wedding photography—but away from wedding days, I create personal projects that explore connection, emotion and storytelling in different ways.
The image that caught Vogue’s attention was from one of these creative explorations: a deeply personal project where I stepped away from client work and focused entirely on artistic expression. Having that work recognised by one of the most iconic names in fashion and photography is both humbling and inspiring.
The Importance of Creating Just for You
This feature has reminded me how vital it is to create outside of client work. When we experiment, push boundaries and photograph purely for ourselves, our voice as artists becomes clearer. Vogue’s recognition felt like a validation of following my creative instincts, even when it’s outside my usual genre.
A Thank You to Those Who Inspire Me
My creative work often draws from nature, relationships and quiet, unguarded moments—and it’s shaped by the people and experiences in my life. Thank you to everyone who trusts me to explore and share those stories, whether on a wedding day or in a completely different artistic space.
